My first day at college (or, "What's up here?")

Today was my first day at school. Just one class. Real easy.
I was supposed to meet up with a friend of mine after class, but I got out pretty early. Now this is no huge university or anything, just a local branch of a state community school. Last semester they started a few classes in an old elementary school down the road from me. They only uses about half of one floor, that's it. While I was looking for my class, I ended up in a dark tiny hallway and got lost. For a 3 floor building, they're using next to nothing of it.

So It's my first day here and I'm bored with over a half hour to kill.
Since parts of the first floor were unoccupied, the other floors probably were, also. When no one was in the corridor (which I didn't have to wait long for, there couldn't have been more than 8 classes going on) I snuck up a stairwell to the second floor. It was around 9 PM and there were no lights, with the exception of a small blinking light on the other side of the doors of every classroom. I didn't want to take my chances in case they were alarmed, so I settled for wandering the halls.

I was pretty surprised to see such a contrast between the neat & clean academic haven on floor one, and the dusty dingy & rusty atmosphere on the second. Some peeling paint on the lockers and walls, papers littered the corners of the hallway. Motivational posters hung doggy-eared on bulletin boards, as well as the month's lunch schedule. I peered into one classroom which had a US map folded on a small desk, and a box of papers on what was probably the teacher's desk.
The classroom next to this one had some broken chalk on the ground and nothing else.
I thought I heard someone walking up the stairwell I had came from, so I freaked out and ran down the hallways to the next set of stairs. It turned out to just be someone leaving the building, but I was still nervous about the possibility of being caught.

Stairwell 'D', the one which I had ran down, was one of two that went down into the basement. Vinyl pseudo-wood wallpaper lined the walls of a cramped and carpeted hallway, with small offices scattered about. At the end was a huge oak door the height and width of the hallway itself.... more or less. There was no blinking light shining through the frosted glass window in the center of the door, so I took my chances. it swung open, and I didn't hear any alarms. As I had hoped, no blinking light either.

Before I could even breathe a sigh of relief I gasped in amazement. A gymnasium/pool, bigger than any gymnasium/pool I have ever seen before. Actually to be honest, I've never seen a structure that was both a gymnasium, and a pool.
Tiled flooring surrounded a deep dip into the ground with stairs leading down into it. four basketball hoops surrounded the gym/pool while being eye level to me. With only a dim flashlight I noticed that the floor of the dip was a smooth blue surface. Not wooden like gymnasium floors tend to be. Down towards the end of the huge room were words painted in dark blue on the tiles. "No Diving" and "No Running". There were no markers indicating depth, but I imagine if it were sloped they couldn't really play basketball in there, could they? From my perspective, it seemed to be about 10 feet.
I rank that in my top-5 weirdest things I've ever seen list.

My next class is on Thursday (as is my birthday, by the way) so I will try to get some photos to place up here.

I absolutely agree with you. This is the best time to develop yourself as a person. College life is truly one of the best times of my life. I am currently studying at a university, but I still remember with nostalgia the moments I was in college. The atmosphere, communication, friendship, parties, all this created an incredibly cool overall atmosphere. Now I am studying at the university, I am sitting and making a presentation in Power Point. I collaborate with the service https://edubirdie....point-presentation, where you can order a high-quality presentation at any course. They help me because I work as a manager, and often I don’t have enough time to do my homework in a quality manner.

I found a service that has reviews on platforms like the one you advised, here it is - https://paidpaper....-writing-services/ . How much do you think such reviews can be trusted? I am concerned that the creators of such services can write profitable reviews for themselves. What do you think about it?

Hello everyone! Oh I remember also my first day in college! Thanks for the links. Today is an interesting time to try online education. I want to improve my skills, so I went to the online courses. It is everything well there, but I do not like writing assignments. I was browsing essay services when I found this company EduBirdie that you are talking about in this tread . As I read more from this review, seems like it is the best company. Probably I am right, because you say here that it is the good and professional service, they hire the professional qualified authors.
