7th of December, 2004: Belgium

Got back from Liege Belgium yesterday, where me and my fiancé stayed for a three days.

Again it's hard to find words to describe the places where we out of the courtesy of Titch and the Green Explorers visited. Let's just say that in Finland, there even isn't "live" buildings as huge as the abandoned Fort La Chatreuse was.

But the place that made an everlasting impact to me, was the Fort de Pontisse. European history ready to be touched by your own hands and tasted with your own mouth (dust). The original French signs still saying which way to go, if you want to reach the infirmary, canteen or different cupolas and other defensive structures...I think I walked the whole time, with my mouth open...sucking in all the dust...history...

Unbelievable place and places...

Thanks again!

P.S. I finally understood, why your group is named Green Explorers
