23rd of October, 2004: Planning A Trip & Other Updates

Long time since I've updated this. Work is taking most of my time and nerves.

My dog survived the operation I mentioned in one thread, her spleen was removed and is now recovering from the operation, although she still seems to be a very sick and weak. Hopefully getting better soon...

Other than that, I've now started to plan our December trip to Belgium where hopefully I will meet Titch from the Green Explorers and we'll take a trip to some location, which is up to him.
I'm also trying to visit the Breendonk Memorial, a fort which was build by the Belgian army in 1906 and during the German occupation in WWII, it was used as an concentration camp.

Depending how much time we have left, we will also try to see The Castle of Bouillon or The Castle of Gravensteen. Hopefully we'll have the time to visit at least one of those. I was already planning to visit the Fort Eben Emael, but noticed that it's not open around the year, so that will have to wait for some other time.

We'll be leaving to Belgium on 4th of December and getting back on 6th of December, the Finnish independency day, which is a Monday and a holiday!
