Welcome to the den of anarchy!

Baby's first squat house 01 by false teeth, on Flickr

This two room house sits by a small dirt road, in the middle of nowhere in Finland. It seems to have been abandoned for decades and would have been a pretty boring UE spot, but it seems that at some point quite recently in had some new occupants. The house was tidy, but full of "anarchistic" graffiti, all in english and looking like it was copied off from the internet. I'm not sure if anyone had actually been squatting here, but i would guess not as there really was no signs of anyone sleeping or eating there. Some local teen that just discovered punk feels like a more likely option.

Very cool! I know a few folks through this hobby who squat, the punk squatter and urbex scenes do have some overlap. Squatters tend to pack light so they can leave in a hurry if the cops evict them, but I suspect you're right if there was no trash like old food cans/wrappers/ signs of use. Granted, maybe there were squatters there who cleaned up after themselves, but teenagers getting high and writing cool stuff from the internet feels more likely to me too.

"Sorry, I didn't know I'm not supposed to be here," he said, knowing full well he wasn't supposed to be there.

Wild find! I could spend hours reading all the notes and opening every cabinet. I hope it's moreso the cool hippies writing things versus uncreative teenagers.

Fantastic photos!

I find it disheartening that the house looks like this. I believe it could have been restored to a more habitable condition and remove these inscriptions, they look inappropriate here

Yes, it is a pity to see old homes in this condition, but the countryside in Finland is full of houses like this. The truth is that hardly anyone really wants to live in places like this anymore. It's isolated, the house is tiny, there is no plumbing and it would take a fortune to renovate. Times move on.
