Hey, I'm curious if anyone has had experience infiltrating the "backrooms" of active bcferries vessels. I saw that post by ninjalicious saying how he got into the engineering room on the queen of sydney(i think). If anyone has any experience doing this and could share some advice on how you could access places like this please let me know.

I worked for seaspan for awhile working on refits of bc ferries. Not worth it if you aren’t a worker. Really not that interesting and tbh when in use there is some crazy stuff happening in the engine rooms that could easily kill someone if they didn’t know. If you are really set on trying to get
Onto on I’d try to get out the the bc ferries in mission, but keep in mind it’s on private land and owned by someone.

Keep Exploring!

The Queen of Sidney is an all-time favorite of mine and the engine room specifically was one of the most memorable exploring experiences of my life. The feeling of climbing atop and standing between the refrigerator sized cylinder heads of the largest engine I've ever seen in my life was absolutely surreal. The room is pitch black, chains hanging from the ceiling, humid with oil residue, the stairs, the walls, every surface coated with reddish brown slime, shiny and slick, and as the water level of the Fraser River rises and falls the engine room floods with oily, contaminated water up to your knees.

Classic location. So much history, controversy, drama, character, decay.
