Went to a abandoned hotel in Topeka KS recently, started off with a predictable set of hallways and random rooms. It was pretty recently abandoned, so some of the rooms were still in good shape. Overall though, it started as a rather standard explore.

It was relatively standard, at least until we entered into a larger, central room that existed further down the main hall:

It was a massive pool room! Equipped with a large, spiraling blue slide (which was a ton of fun to climb!).

Other than that, there was a kitchen in the back, complete with some free snacks:

Finally, there was a large ballroom:

The final photo must be prefaced with the fact that I am always the first to profess the 'leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but photos' approach to Urban Exploration, however when there are several cans of fire extinguishers around, you have to do something!

That's all folks, hope you enjoyed.
