I was up in the air about putting up a 2022 thread due to several reasons, but obviously I caved, so here it is. Random shots from some trips I took throughout the year of abandoned and active spots, Mayan ruins, National Parks, plane crashes, green sea turtles and whale sharks in no particular order. Didn't really explore as much as I would have liked to in 2022, so we'll see if 2023 is any different. Met some new friends, so that was cool too.

1
Some whale sharks and green sea turtles to open it up. Don't mind the bubbles and other crap in the water. Whale sharks were feeding so most of the water was kind of hazy.

Don't mind the slightly out of focus shots from here. Realized when I already climbed back over the spiked fence, that I didn't focus my shots. It wasn't worth ripping my pants and putting a hole in my brand new boots again.

Since this place isn't a secret anymore. Went here for the first time about 6-7 years ago when this place had only seen a few explorers. I could probably count on one hand the amount of people that had gone. Once Covid hit, that drastically changed. Hopefully this place doesn't end up looking like the Philadelphia plants.

What an amazing year in review !

So many fabulous locations, too many faves to list.
Sure wish I had ability to travel more, eye candy everywhere when looking through explorer eyes.

Those Whale shark shots are crazy cool!!

It's a pity that Jersey shore mansion has been trashed

I'm obsessed with Quinta de Regaleira, that must of been quite spectacular to be there in the flesh

Thanks for sharing, some incredible stuff here !!

awesome yir! #17 and #46 are mind boggling.

#16 - i have run up and down this spiral a dozen times, it wasn’t until recently someone pointed out towards the top, the metal is completely eaten away and hanging on by a thread. when it falls, i am taking it home.

you have just begun reading the sentence you just finished reading.

I’m honestly surprised it hasn’t yet. Definitely replace your stairs at home with that 😂😂. That would be kinda cool tbh.
