In a small village there once was a large sawmill. Closed in the 1980's it left lots of empty flats and crashing house prices.

Near the old sawmill was this rather large one family house with a strange window layout. It's location and style of construction suggested, that it had something to do with the old sawmill. It has stood abandoned at least since 2011, as the Google Street view photos from that year already show broken windows.

Not only were the windows broken. The windows and doors were all missing.

The floor of the hall had gone through a lot.

In addition to the windows and doors, even all wallpaper was gone. The building's walls still look pretty healthy.

The cupboards were if not original, at least very old. The holes in the front of the picture are not on the floor but rather on a large shelf which has fallen.

The use of colors has been pretty bold.

A lovely detail.

The upstairs featured a few bedrooms and some storage space.

The hall was a very light place and the sun was setting beautifully.
