On a nice summer evening we explored this innocent, tiny looking cottage.
The last renovations had been made a very long time ago. It was probable, that a very old person had lived here, as the building had been abandoned in 2005.
The basement was so low I couldn't stand straight. The only room was a sauna. There was no shower and no toilet in the building, so this was where the inhabitant(s) had washed themselves. There was no wc either, so they used a privy.
The shelf contained lots of personal items like letters and a fine.
The windows looked like they hadn't been washed in decades.
Another window shot. I love the bright colors in this one.
Such a thick chain and still it wouldn't keep intruders out.
There were clothes scattered all around the yard.
We left the building, but there was something odd about it. The sauna and small basement were under an area of the building, which was inaccessible on the ground floor. Yet the building was larger from the outside than it seemed to be inside.
Even the top of the stairs leading to the basement looked like there were stairs on the other side, unless...
...the top was the door.
There was a small room with a bed and old Christmas decorations. But solving the riddle of the house was a treasure itself.
