Long Beach Urbex Groups?

Hi, I've been into Urbex for a hot minute now, but have had a lot of trouble finding groups or meetups in my area. I'm a little nervous to do it alone and don't know a whole lot of spots. Any recommendations?

Greetings. What things in Japan did you explore?

The most notable place was an abandoned research institute tucked away in the hills of a small town along the coast. It was pretty neat! I did a bit of poking around in a few other places, but that was definitely the most notable.

Lots of interesting things to see locally here in Southern California. You might focus your efforts in the two local ports, or a little further out in the high desert. Stay safe, and good luck.

Hey, I'm in Long Beach too. If you want to get your feet wet (literally) you should check out the abandoned mines in Altadena. One is already in the UE DB, but supposedly there are 8+ all in the same canyon. I've found 2 of them so far. I thought they were pretty cool.

Also I think this might be my first post ever on UER despite having an account for 4+ years. Hi everyone.

Here's an old post with some pics-held-hostage. Yokohama.
