The Hillcrest golf course was once well maintained and gorgeous. Now, native plants have reclaimed their rightful home. In 2011, the golf course was undergoing bankruptcy, so they were acquired by the Steamfitters Pipefitters Local 455 to be used as a training center. By 2018, the Local 455 had not carried out their plan to make a training center, but the course had stayed open the entire time. However, memberships were down and the course was a bleeding wound to the Steamfitters. In 2019, the course was sold to and closed by the Saint Paul Port Authority to be used for infrastructure. Since then, there have been plans in the works for "The Heights".
https://www.twinci...wn-as-the-heights/ Demolition and construction slated for 2023. Much of the interior demolition has already been taken care of by vandals and what appears to be scrappers.

Overall location rating: 3/10
Quite boring. No special architecture, no items of interest really, and most everything had already been vandalized. A walk around the golf course was much more enjoyable.
