This location I've known about my entire life but never inspected close enough to see if entry was possible. Back in 2010 and again in 2014 the gate was opened. When inside, I found graffiti dated 2010, although some of it may be newer. As far as I know no other excursions have been made since.

The entry/gate (if this too much info about PoE I can edit/remove)

Entry gap (less than a foot of clearance, barely made it in)

Tunnel entry and transition (starts over 6ft then goes to 6ft or a little under)

Multiple ladders to manhole (WARNING: many rungs are rusted through and not reliable)

Although this is a storm drain there was still lots of poop (dog? human? ratman?). Some had peculiar mold growing on it that made me initially think there was a dismembered furby

Nothing of interest until the end of the tunnel which ends in a floodgate of some sort

Manhole leads to a small house which has the floodgate controls in it

I eventually backtracked to a manhole that had less spiders and centipedes that came out into the street

Overall rating pretty boring but a good entry into tunnel exploration

I recently explored this drain but I didn't pop that manhole cover to the little house you mentioned. That drain was awesome but it was hard to get into due to tons of traffic driving by all the time. I had to go at 2:00AM and even still it was fairly busy out.

Also I will say that when I explored this drain not too long ago I saw a huge rat on the left side of the big square tub of water at the end of the drain. It was on the side with the rungs leading up to the little house that you mentioned above. The rat was alive too but rats don't scare me (LOL). Does anyone know why some drains have these tubs of water? I've seen other drains that have those tubs of water in them but I never knew what they for.

Damn Doug, commenting all the way from the land down under just to shit on an MSP classic? The audacity, smh (jk).

"Sorry, I didn't know I'm not supposed to be here," he said, knowing full well he wasn't supposed to be there.

Quite the opposite actually ;)

In my first comment I left out "more" so it may have been interpreted as "hopefully one day you eventually find a good drain unlike the one you posted in this thread"

Doug, what if that was the first drain I had ever been in and your comment turned me off of drains forever and I never went in another drain ever again? Don't you think that would have ruined my life and altered the course of it irrevocably. Perhaps by being in a drain instead of being above ground I avoided a car that would have hit me. Would you want to be responsible for my death?

This drain is actually a good drain and I wouldn't mind going back again. I need to go back anyway so I can take some pictures (LOL).

That is exactly why I corrected myself.
Cars don't kill dissatisfied drain explorers, poorly thought out replies do.

XDDD I kid of course. Too many good drains to even have a chance of getting hit by a car. Unless someone brings a car into the drain...

And Hoover, let me know when you come back, I would love to explore it with you.

Oh yeah I will. I actually like that drain. I don't know too many other explorers who have ever explored that drain before but I've known about it for a few years now and I'm excited that I finally got a chance to see what it looked like in that drain! Yes I would love to explore that drain with you sometime! Please let me know when you would like to do that. You know my number (LOL).

There is (or at least was) a video of exactly that on YouTube and the same channel shows motorboating in drain not to far from where you were exploring.
