Coyotes make for good site security apparently

Last fall a friend and I were exploring a Local abando. It was situated along a stream and was nestled in the woods, my city has alot of random wooded areas so its not uncommon for you to see coyotes or deer or other animals in these woodland pockets. Anyways we had crossed the creek to get to the abando, spent an hour walking around outside and tried to find an enterance, we were unable to find one………well we did find one but we would have had to hike through a big patch of stinging needle bushes to get there so not exactly practical. As the sun began to set we decided to start heading back and figured we didnt want to cross the creek Agian as we wouldn’t need to in order to reach our car (we had crossed it previously so we could enter the abando through the back to he discreet). After hopping a fence We followed a game trail through the woods, after about a minute we hear rustling about 50 yards away, we assumed it was a person at first and froze, only to see a coyote dart through the brush (away from us thankfully). We paused to allow the coyote to leave our line of sight to hopefully put some distance between us and the animal, only to start hearing more yaps and howls on either side of us (not super close or anything but still startling)………needless to say we fucked outta there and ended up just crossing the creek agian, fortunately the coyotes either didnt notice us or didnt care.
