| | | I dunno if this subject has already been thoroughly explored on this site, but what are ppl's preferred forms of transport for going exploring? One time I went in a friend's car to a site (old railroad bridge with an empty lot nearby where we parked), and as we were leaving an angry neighbor stormed up and took pictures of the license plate and threatened to call the cops. On previous visits to the site, his visibility of the area was limited by a fence, but recent high winds had blown it down. We calmed him down and left without incident, but ever since then I've only biked or walked to sites (I'm also just not a super confident driver and try to not drive for environmental, etc reasons if alternatives are available). This does somewhat limit where I can go because of the not-so-great public transit in my area and the lengthened travel times. On the other hand, in rural to semi-rural voyages sometimes I can take the bike down paths cars can't go on and it actually makes more sense than walking. At any rate, if I ever do drive to a site again, I will certainly park very far away. How do y'all go about transportation?

| I use an e-bike, very inconspicuous. They are quiet, some are affordable, some are built for trails, etc. Only an issue if you live in a small town like I do and the same troopers wave to you whenever they see you. My perfect Urbexing vehicle would be a Sur-ron. One day.
