Photo resizing

Hi everyone! I'm new to this website and I have a question about posting photos.

It says the size limit is <100k, but all of my photos are around 3-5Mb currently. I've been using a really clunky approach of minimizing/screenshotting/pasting to mspaint to try to get the photos down to the right size but... its really slow and the photo quality really suffers.

Does anyone have any tools or tips on how to do this better? Thanks!

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

The best approach is to embed photos hosted offline with bbcode, flickr has a great option for it.

Faststone is what I use, best batch resizing tool out there and does many other things too. Then I upload the resized ones to Flickr.

I use https://imgur.com

Av's 100 KB limit is sort of laughable in this day and age, isn't it?

It already was back when I joined in 2005.
