Hello y'all!
This is my first post on UER so go easy on me! I've recently become pretty enamored with the whole idea of Urbex, and as in the past I have never been one to shy away from the dirty or the dangerous it wasn't too hard to start.



Me and some close friends had been planning a trip to go see some small stakes, low profiles sites, and I received a tip about an old army base. The trip was only supposed to be a quick in and out route, checking it out, for future visits, but we ended up staying much longer than anticipated, almost caught some trouble too! But after only managing to see a bit of the area, it was time to make our exit.






After this we made a quick trip to an old radar base. It wasn't abandoned necessarily, but still an interesting site.




This was honestly not much more than a quick hike, as this was pretty openly accessible. The next site was much more fruitful, no territorial gun-touting locals, no environmental hazards, and a very interesting site ahead. We had found a small power plant, and to our luck, it was tucked right into the middle of a largely undeveloped part of the downtown area of a small town.



There were lots of beautiful artifacts of a time passed.





and lots of beautiful structures.





We spent the day indulging in the beauty of these sites, took nothing but photos and memories, and left without a scratch or a charge.

To many more memories, and many more days, after all, there ain't no place like not being home.
