Abandoned Church and House 2012 vs 2022

Back in 2012 when I was busy discovering new locations and new to the hobby, I found this old abandoned stone home, well hidden in the middle of nowhere.

The pictures were crooked as shit, as I did back then!

I went back this weekend and was shocked to see the difference from 10 years ago.

Note - the white spaces in the 2012 pics were a result of me straightening them...so so bad!

Sorry, the pics are huge

Also from 2012 is this abandoned First Nations Church, it finally came down this winter. Here is my comparison of then and now

What a coincidence!!!
This is where I was when I took that old car pic you messaged me about on the weekend. What the heck night was that?.... Friday night. I went from here to the train station. Ok, so we weren't there at the same time. Or were we? You don't have a white pick-up truck, do you? That's too bad that we missed each other by probably a day. I'm waiting for the time when we run into each other on the fly at a place somewhere.

Do you have any idea what was directly across the road when you're parked down the hill? There's a driveway that leads to an overgrown public parking lot and a small, burned down pavilion.

PS - Yah, I know, I look like I'm taking a leak.

LOSER!!!

(EDIT/MODIFIED to call myself a LOSER!!!)

Beautiful photos! Thank you for sharing.
Sad to see the deterioration and vandalism of these locations.

That church was one of the coolest places I've stumbled across, sad to see it finally go. Each year that piano sank a little lower, guess it was only a matter of time. (there's a joke about B Flat in here somewhere)

You always find something if you look, it's just not always quite what you were looking for
