| | | What began as a simple joke has become my hallmark and niche. As always, thank you to those that humor me, play lookout for me, or hit the shutter button on my behalf. These are by no means all of the places I saw, but just some select shots. For those of you who cannot get past the naked male form, I'm sorry. For the rest, enjoy. | | | Thank you all for the kind words. I will say I am not big on editing or sharing my work generally, but it is always a joy to put together this small exhibit for all of you. It really is the only motivation I have each year to edit any pictures. Last year's focus was a lot on industry and infrastructure. This year I sought out roadside oddities, architectural anomalies, and anything else that makes you do a double take. I doubled down on my composition and framing and came out much happier, even if I took half as many shots as 2020. I am excited to see what 2022 brings, where it will take me, and who it will have me crossing paths with. And for those curious, I was only spotted nude once, while inside of a large abandoned wooden ark.

| | | Posted by Weirdlig Awesome work dude, your shots really stand out not just because you're naked, but because they're well done and well thought out. I've gotta ask, what's the story with 12? Is that abandoned or was this like an infiltration thing?
| Thank you, thank you! So, without giving too much information, that is an old science museum. I would call it a vacant building as opposed to abandoned, as it is on a very active property. All of the old dioramas are intact: antelopes, bison, gators, eagles, monkeys, mountain lion, etc. You name the animal and it is there. Two friends and I were able to gain access to the property and had a ball of a time. We rummaged through the entire building and found some screwdrivers we used to unscrew the trimming around this particular exhibit. It took quite awhile as the exhibits are old, ornate, and we did not want to damage anything. Next we had to slide one of the panes of glass to the side to access the elk. If you look back at the photograph you can see the end of the panel in between the elk's eyes. Moving that large panel of glass was actually quite terrifying because it is so large and heavy that it flexed a lot, even moving it just a foot or two. I visualized it breaking and slicing my nude body up (yes, I was nude by this point as I took some other less inspired shots). We took turns taking portraits and group shots for awhile before reversing the entire process and returning the tools to their home. The only evidence of us being there are the smudged fingerprints on the inside of the glass panels. Let us hope they do not notice that should they ever open the building back up to the public. Of course I took a couple more serious photographs, but this one was just too irreverent to keep from everyone. This was one of those explores fueled by adrenaline, aided and abetted by alcohol, and thankfully completed without incident.
