I have heard that many people are not making year end threads this year!

And, I would have been one. I had a pretty pathetic year that basically put me into semi-retirement status. Kids (we're preparing for our third), and life have just put exploring on the backburner.

But, tradition is tradition, so here's this year of exploring...


Looking through photos, I realized I switched camera systems a few times. From Sony, to Olympus. and I've been on Fujifilm now. And been using various film cameras.

Always good to see your work! The contrast between your Hawaii images and those you took on the mainland is really striking. I really dig your film work too, the black and white and color shots are equally well-executed. Keep it up!

I was surprised finding the bird sanctuary. Or was neat, nearby they have a new structure for the birds, so I got to hear them while I explored.

I too moved onto Fujifilm, from Canon. I like it a lot, having fun with all of the film recipes. I bought an X series, so I am waiting for the lenses to catch up, but all around its been great.
