This is an abandoned firehouse in NYC, It was built in the early 80s and abandoned prior to Hurricane Sandy. The new quarters are in full view of the old one. Last year there was a fire that unfortunately destroyed most of what made this place interesting.

Are you sure it was a Fire Station? I see a lot of NYPD in your pictures, including that photo of an ESU truck. Someone should go back and salvage that plaque from Hurricane Isabel too....

I have no idea how the NYPD Stuff ended up there. The building was only vacant a year between the new quarters being built and Sandy

Considering how long the place has been abandoned, it's very well preserved. There isn't a ton of graffiti, and it looks like the original contents of the building haven't been stolen. This location is very cool!

It's in NYC.
This is sweet! As an EMT and a Volunteer firefighter, This is very amazing to see as what our past brothers and sisters worked in (obviously not this condition) but the building and structure is very well preserved
