1. While driving around an abandoned neighbourhood, I saw bizarre street art on the side of a building. It says there's a pet store and cat cafe.


2. And this appeared to be it.




3. The place was surrounded by trash. There were also people nearby, so despite the entrance being easy to reach (and exposed), I left with plans to come back another time.

17. Meanwhile, at another abandoned neighbourhood that's already been fenced off, they've installed cat gates so strays can escape.

It seems like other countries have cat cafes now too, even Western ones. I think they sound better run over there, because often they also serve to adopt out the cats, and they don't have weird creatures like raccoons, owls, capybaras, lizards, etc. And when they close, I'm assuming there are rules that prevent the animals from all being abandoned or something less ethical happening. Fortunately I didn't find signs of that at this place but it is possible and happens here.

this is so cute! sad that its abandoned now. i miss visiting cat cafes.

Yeah, I really wanted that green candy cane.

That's really Cool. here in China, the Cat cafe bar it's not only for a cat but mainly for social networking.

There was a cat cafe in Manchester but it had to permanently close due to the pandemic.

I didn't go there but some of my friends did.

The picture torn up made me sad
