Hey everyone, been doing urban exploring for many years now but this is my first post here so bear with me.
A few weeks ago a friend of mine brought up going into the hearn, our scheduled day was pushed a few times until we were able to put together a last minute trip this weekend.
My previous research suggested that there was relaxed security there, a security guard stationed at the front only with many possible entry ways including open doors and broken windows on the ground level.
Upon arrival, we were able to determine the position of the security guard, there were also trucks pulling into the parking lot there, we were headed there on a Sunday so we wrongfully believed that there wouldn't be many people there.
We made our way over the fence, using bushes and trees as cover to put us in a position out of view of the security checkpoint. However all of the windows were boarded up, big boulders were pushed in front of doors to prevent them from opening. However, the main thing is that the security guard actually does patrols around the plant in a golf cart which we were forced to evade.
Annnnd entry details removed...
Inside people were working when we were there. Water was seeping in though the roof into tarps, providing enough noise to cover the one we made. We managed to hear the footsteps and used to the sounds to evade any workers there. There were many weird things inside, moose antlers, blacksmith tools, pipes, trees among other things, I'm guessing movie props.
We got our way to the staircase, from which you can reach any point of the building, however we only managed to explore the first 2 floors as activity there was really picking up, at one point we had to hide in a dark control room. We made our way out from where we came and that was that.
All in all it was very risky, but very worth it. Don't go there if you don't know what you're doing.
