	driven past this place a few times and decided to stop by and check it out. the front used to be a market, im unsure what the rest of the building was for. unfortunately i couldnt go inside. someone left their fridge though. [last edit 9/24/2020 6:11 AM by bleckfrog - edited 1 times]

	That's an old train station, really old. Could date to the 1910s, but I'm not an expert. Clearly hasn't been used for that for some time.

That's an old train station, really old. Could date to the 1910s, but I'm not an expert. Clearly hasn't been used for that for some time.

interesting, what are the indicators that it was a train station? looking on google maps, it doesn't seem to be near any railroads.

	The architecture. The wide covered porch and the small two-story section make it stand out most to me. Can't really provide specifics apart from "Looks like one". It's possible it could have been moved from the original location, or the tracks were stripped long ago. There's a lot of information online about former railroads.

ah, i see. yeah that does make sense, and looking at the base of the building it definitely seems possible that it was relocated. thanks for sharing!

You're absolutely correct. It was established as a railroad stop in 1888. Prior to that the valley had relied on the river to move and ship produce from the region.
