Nearly 8 years to the day since my 1st and only visit to Barber, I had been considering a return trip to get some drone footage and try some night work with the arches on the lower level.

Funny thing about this is that in the week before and after my visit, a number of others all had the same idea and neither of us had anything to do with the others going - it seemed that Barber Paper Mill was on the minds of several people all at the same time, including RobIAm, Yokes and others.

I arrived to find an easy and quick way inside and within 5 minutes I'm joined by a group of 5 locals, 10 minutes after that another group of 4 and this went on and on for my entire stay.

From before sunset through dark I said hello to easily 20 people, from locals hanging out to curious explorers with cellphones, flashlights and flip flops to couples going for a stoll.

It was an enjoyable and stress free return to one of our classic spots, except for the part where I left my headlamp somewhere and didn't notice until I got home

I dig the light work in the lower areas! Nice shots all around. I checked out Barber for the first time ever in Nov 2018 and had the same experience running into a few locals here and there.

It is in a floodplain and likely lots of conservation issues.
