Hopefully you aren't sick of another compilation thread. I was originally going to post out by location but decided just to do a curated dump since I only ended up liking a few shots per explore anyways. These are from late 2019, early 2020. All were shot in infrared, indoors or not.

I still consider myself new to this hobby, but I can without a doubt say it has been one of the most important things another person has ever shared with me.

Thanks for looking.

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

I don't want to understate how awesome all of these are, but I really like 15 and 17 for their unique feel!

Holy shit this is so cool! Do you mind briefly describing the process? I've heard of / seen this before, but never as cool looking as this.

I love that most of your shots have a very unique red vibe/tint to them! Absolutely wonderful! More like this please!

Had my DSLR modded a year ago so that the sensor is more or less raw. Once you do that, you can get very specific about what spectrum of light you shoot in. Color infrared like these photos uses a lens filter somewhere in the neighborhood of 615-715nm.

Basically, with IR, the higher you go in nm with filtration, the less color you get. I have an 830nm IR filter and it makes black and white photos only. Even holding it up to the sun, you cannot see any light pass through with your naked eye, it's quite strange.

It took a lot of research and a few camera rentals before I knew what I was doing.

That's so neat! I've only ever heard of IR photography in terms of film. I never really took the second to think about how sensors can be sensitive to IR light.

Kabbalah is an undramatic tradition that requires great patience and stability. One of the reasons for this tempo is that everyone has to mature his potential gradually and thoroughly at his natural pace. In this way his life's work unfolds at the right moment in his own and the cosmos's time.

These are great! Loving 3, 6, 7, 9, 12, and 17, but it's a killer set in general. Thanks for sharing; I look forward to more! 😊

These are gorgeous, the color palette feels like you shot these on Mars.

Time to do some research of my own - this would be super handy for lighting up locations at night where normal flashlights are too risky.

Love the zombie apocalypse-like effect it has on the photos. I bet it would also look nice in a green tint.
