Introduction: Harriet Irving

Welcome to the UNB Underground Revived.

This is a new journal with respects to ToxicToaster. If you have not already read ToxicToaster's journal on UNB's underground tunnels, I highly recommend that you read his journal before you read further with mine. The purpose of this journal is to document the missing link between the UNB Tunnel System and the Fredericton Tunnel System, as well as to fully map out the UNB Tunnel System. The goal is to achieve these 2 main goals in the near future. However for the mean time, the Fredericton Underground will set little goals every now and again until we eventually reach our main goals

To hide my real name, I will be known as Harriet Irving or H.I.L. for short. I chose H.I.L. mainly because the Harriet Irving Library is a huge source of knowledge and it is where Bailey and I go to search for maps or any information we can find about the UNB Tunnel System(UNBTS).

Important Note: Everyone in this journal will go by pseudonyms, named after buildings on the UNB fredericton campus. My partner, Bailey, is named after Bailey Hall, pretty self explanatory.

Important Terms
UNBTS: University of New Brunswick Tunnel System. No map complete for this system.
FTS: Fredericton Tunnel System. No map complete for this system
FUG: Fredericton Underground, a team formed in the early 2000's to explore the link between the UNBTS and the FTS.
Well: Entrances to the UNBTS that resemble the look of a water well. They are under grates to look like sewage drains, however they have ladders going down.
ToxicToaster: A user from 2005 who originally created a UNBTS journal on UER. The inspiration for this journal.
Green Hut: There are little 1.5 foot wide Green Huts all around campus that lead down into the UNBTS. They are usually locked, but we use these to map the UNBTS without going down into them.
Silver Pipes: These also help us map out the UNBTS without going down into them. These Silver Pipes come straight out of the ground then curve down. It is theorized that they connect to UNBTS for air ventilation.

I intend to post here a couple times a week to update everyone how the progress is coming. Make sure to check in every week or so. Hope everyone enjoys!

Yours truly,
Harriet Irving
