If it's difficult to access or more than a few km up a gravel road I take my KLX250S:

I've ridden the Bobber too, they're wicked fun bikes. Effortless handling, fast, and a ton of character. It's a shame they're so hard to find used, you're pretty much locked into buying these new Indians from dealerships, especially up here in Canada.

I'm saving up for Indian's 2019 FTR 1200.

Usually my KLX250SF - my daily rider for the last 3 years.

More rarely my beater tun-to-the-dump-or-hardware-store '87 Mazda B2000

and FAR more rarely than that my wife's Subaru Outback. I normally only get to use that to take the dog places or go grocery shopping.

You have excellent taste I love the Scout 750 FTR - it reminds me of both the old Honda and Harley trackers of the 70s - but don't want a race bike. I'm trying to talk myself out of buying a friend's Handa Shadow 1100 for a bobber project.

1999 Suburban K1500
Alot of room inside for gear/people and has a 42 gallon gas tank for long drives. Plus very comfortable.

And here is my 2005 4Runner V8.
Lifted and can go to remote locations. Added comfy seats out of a 94 LeBaron for comfort and am adding an offroad bumper. Just waiting for it to show up.

Lots of nice rides posted so far!

jonrev I LOVE the Fiero! Did not expect to see one of those posted here.

Anyway, here is mine. 2001 Buick Regal GS. I have been all over in this car. It's very reliable and super comfy for long trips. It can go a surprisingly good amount of places. I have taken it up some roads and trails it has no business being on.

The Mazda
because it has official documentation.

Or one of several Beetles.

213k miles and still chugging. 5 speed and turbo, enough space to bring friends and gear, bought for super cheap, so I can't complain. Soon I'll get a 4x4 for some more off-road capability.

I usually drive my 2011 Prius to sites all around Florida. Thank god for it's terrific fuel efficiency, I know I'd be spending a hell of a lot more money on gas if it didn't get close to 50 miles a gallon. It's got almost 87,000 miles on it already, and it's no where near to quitting on me yet. The trunk space is a pretty nice size, and the seats are comfy enough to sleep in when I go for a pre-dawn. My boyfriend and I always take turns driving/napping when we go somewhere exceptionally far.

Safe exploring! - August.

I drive a 2001 Saturn L200 with an Umbrella Inc parking tag. Not trying to fool anybody, it just looks cool. She's no Ox but her mileage is superb.

I don't really explore much anymore... but for the past 6 years, the Cruze has been trundling me from place to place in relative comfort and efficiency.

I drive this lovely 1999 ford contour. I bought it for $700 from a high school acquaintance. Its a total beater that I keep going, still don't have the confidence to take it out to any isolated locations where an Uber couldn't save me. (Not to say I don't get the incredible temptation to) Although I've also found an electric scooter to really be an excellent scouting vehicle in urban areas. I'd love to get a portable one but those lime rent-a-scooters will have to do.

Let me in.

My invincible, reliable, oh-so-charming 2006 Subaru Impreza Outback with 143,000 or so miles. Equally at home on dirt farm roads or the Baltimore beltway. My first and so far only car, it had its front end crushed in by a van during my first ever exploring outing in it. The insurance company told me to write it off, but I overruled them to have it repaired, and it's been going strong ever since.

I'll use this picture because yay film, and because every other one I've taken of it at locations are in the "I'm Parked in Front" thread.

Me personally, a 2001 for ranger. 4x4, good gas mileage plenty of room if you have an extended cab (I don't but I get by) and I grew up driving ford rangers.

And to think "Chad" isn't even my real name.
