| | | UPDATE 4: More orders going out tomorrow, and the button is back! Thanks Av! Here is an updated, full set of decals with their permanent inventory numbers. Refer to them using the numbers here because calling them "the UER logo" got old once I had small, med, large, black, white and clear versions. All sizes are relative as best I can show. Bigger image = bigger sticker once printed.
- ROUND 1 was printed, received, and some are already in the hands of explorers.
- ROUND 2 has been printed and will be added to the store by this weekend
- ROUND 3 is proposed and I'd love your feedback!
You'll see Round 1's Yacht Club are smaller than those proposed. Those of you that have received them may have thought "These are only about 2 inches" - well you're right, so bigger ones are coming! UER Barn of Doom, 'Yacht Club' and 'No Poe' designs courtesy of Skatchkins. Manhole and Kirkbride designs by FlySparro. Actual Kirkbride signature. The stickers are divided here first by their print medium (Clear, White, Black vinyl) and then by Round 1 (available for order), Round 2 (Soon), and Round 3 (Let's get the feedback!). 1. First, the clear decals, Rounds 1 & 2 2. Decals printed on white, Rounds 1-3 3. Black-background decals, all Round 3 and currently up for discussion Sticker 20a / 20b I figure would be good (like #20c) to put somewhere difficult to get to. Where you'd like to reward anyone who finds it with an offering to come check us out. Sticker #20c reads: 01101110011010010110001101100101001000000111010001101111001000000111001101100101011001010010000001111 00101101111011101010010111000100000011101010110010101110010001011100110001101100001It should be easy enough to solve given the stickers shown beside it. Keeps useless noobs and boneheaded property owners from showing up on the site, but allows motivated folks to [try and] find us. Let me know your thoughts. Possible feedback on Round 3 could include "#xx sucks, don't print it" or maybe "I'll take forty of #xx" Obviously their price varies with size, BANDOSBANDOSBANDOS is currently the largest (and accordingly most expensive), but that will change with Round 3. The only exception to this rule is UER logos, and soon to be mini and clear UER logos (#s 22 and 21, respectively) which I keep the most affordable so everyone can have logos! Thanks for all your help! Let me know if you have other suggestions for inclusion into round 3, including Skatchkins' broom-man homage and others. Yea or nay? lol //Sparro

| | | Posted by flySparro A "Bando" is a bastardized term for "Abandonment".. some like it, some don't. lol See thread. Since you mention it, who would you think to honour, in addition to Ninjalicious? Regarding Ninjalicious specifically, I've made a decal out of the Infiltration logo — I could donate those proceeds to the appropriate cause..

How about Lord Rick? On a positive and more serious note, NickSan, Don Corleyone, and Av, for starters. Edit: On another note, how about UER t-shirts featuring Av's old designs? I missed out on them while they were previously available, probably because I was broke at the time.

| T-shirts are expensive. Even more so if you want quality ones. (I don't half-ass wearables.. haha. If I'm gonna do shirts, they're gonna be fk'n NICE). Av did a round of t-shirts back in 2007.. I'm a fan and would be game to bring them back. I just have to find a supplier that - Has quality shirts
- Has quality white-on-black and colour screen printing
- Isn't $25/shirt
I'm open to suggestions!

I love these things! I may be using a ton of them on all my cables and cords for everyday work, haha. Posted by Rusty Canadian I think we have the same camera bag!!!!

Slingshot bags! This one has been everywhere with me.. for professional work I got the Thinktank Airport Int'l 2.0 in.... 2013? and it's been the main bag since. I use the Slingshot for UE though, I've put everything from 14-24mm lenses to 5x Quaker Chewy granola bars, to a water bottle and joby gorillapod in that thing. Batteries and business cards basically live in the outer pocket, spare AA batteries and earplugs in the mesh pocket in the top, and I never use the third buckle / strap, I would cut it off if I hadn't discovered the little secret velcro stash on the site of the bag just beside it. 1. My full camera bag back in 2014: I've since lightened the load by reducing the flashes by 1 and leaving the 20mm lens at home, usually taking a 24-70mm f/2.8 instead of the pictured Sigma 35mm f/1.4 as well.

| | | Posted by Shawn W. Ah, crap. I see a couple of Nikon bodies in your bag. Which models are they?
|
Haha.. My cams: - Nikon D600 & D610 (Pictured)
- Nikon D7000 (Don't use it)
- Nikon D60 (Infrared Converted)
- Nikon F80
- Sony a6500 (video only)
And the next logical question, what glass? - Nikon 10.5mm f/2.8 DX Fisheye. Good for APS-C digital, good for parties, not much use for FX or film.
- Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8 AF-S. Beauty, love it, take it on ski trips and urbexes and landscape days and hiking trips. Heavy but really accurate and sharp. The first of the holy trinity.
- Nikon 18-55mm f/4-5.6.... I think I threw it out.
- Nikon 20mm f/2.8 AF. Great small lens, great for film and lightweight walking around, though the 14-24 is more fun if I can afford the space, weight and am not worried about bashing the front element (that thing is huge). If I want something light that I can just toss in my bag and forget about, I take the 20mm.
- Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 AF-S. Standard lens for weddings and detail shots... The second in the holy trinity. Good for documenting things for normal people to look more at the subject (a ring, flowers, some shoes, a room) without thinking about how it was created. The f/2.8 is sharp and gets out of the way, but it will never be the *reason* someone says "wow" - that's up to the photographer finding the right light.
- Sigma 35mm f/1.4 Art. My first non-nikon purchase. Love it, love the DOF, don't actually use it much. Good for fixed video, good for isolated portraits in an urban environment or night portraits cause it's so damn fast.
- Nikon 50mm f/1.8 AF. Compact, normal, and *affordable*. Enough said.
- Nikon 85mm f/1.8 AF. Kinda gritty wide open, bad chromatic aberration but stopped down, it's incredibly sharp and accurate. It's a cheap 85mm and serves as the "long" counterpart to my 20mm when I'm in semi-lightweight mode and want to just toss in the bag and forget. The 85mm is solid and trusty.
- Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 AF-S. Portrait lens. The third and final of the holy trinity. Weddings, models, birds, specific long-distance uses. Heavy, expensive, sharp, purpose-built.
- Sigma E-mount 16mm f/1.4. Just got this, nice lens.
- Sony 50mm f/1.8 OSS. Coming soon in the mail, great for B-roll video.
