Quick Water Tower Question
Posted on Forum: UER Forum
Hey guys, I was climbing a water tower the other night for the first time and I got to the very top of the ladder, but there was a little jut out of the ladder that prevented you from climbing higher. It was too dark to tell if there was a lock or something and I don't really know how to explain it, but it was as if I had just hit a ceiling. Is this common and if so do you guys have any advice for how to bypass it?

Holy shit, I have no recollection of ever asking that, I'm actually scared right now to be completely honest. Feel free to take this post down I think I think maybe my new meds are messing with my memory or something? I'm at a loss

EDIT:I have chronic insomnia and I just switched meds, turns out Klonopin/Clonazepam can give people amnesia. Sorry for the double post, I'm gonna stop taking those ASAP

Miggt want to stop climbing too until your body adjusts to the meds. Climbing while taking any mind altering substance is just begging for trouble.

Wise advice. Some meds require an initial adjustment period. Be careful.

Yeah, I realize that now... I haven't had anything like this happen since I got a concussion. Guess I'll be taking a break for a week while I get off the meds.

Uh, you need to stay away from anything higher than a step ladder hoss. At least for now.

Climbing on K-pin? Sounds like a chapter in my memoirs.

What it does not sound like is a good idea.

Took the Klonopin after the climb luckily enough, probably would've hurt myself really badly otherwise. It gets rid of all rational thoughts and reasoning... and apparently memories the next morning as well

Yeah I suppose this thread does serve a purpose, it shows a seemingly obvious lesson that I happened to overlook because I had taken the meds before and I suppose it never crossed my mind that I'd need an adjustment period when starting it again. It's a potentially fatal mistake that shouldnt have happened. Thanks for your understanding guys.
