Bank

I explored a bank last month that was also on the outskirts of Chicago. I received the location of the POE and how to get in... but it was still a mission to even get in. Basically, we had to climb up the side of a building, hop on to the banks building, then lower onto a ladder that was attached to 4 folding chairs. Super sketch. Upon entering, we left the office area and made our way into the main lobby. It was a beautiful place. The basement was completely flooded, I really want to go back with like fishing pants and go trudge thru it. The building had 3 stories and the top two stories were just offices. There was a beautiful view from the roof of the Chicago skyline. On our way out, we realized that a door had locked on us blocking the only POE possible. Long story short, we had to break out of the door with a crowbar that we searched for a long time. (Check my profile for a more extensive story about this incident). We saw some neighbors on our way out that questioned what we were doing but they didn't care. Another successful urbex.
