So, I finally decided to go here; it was a useful experience.

The initial access attempt was from the north, through a jungle and across a river; I was stranded on that river, trying to get across on these slippery, rotting fallen trees, whose branches almost flew me into fast-moving, chest-deep stormwater multiple times... I abandoned that and decided to enter through a grove where the main fence terminated (hadn't noticed earlier; did not want to be seen crawling through wire by passerby!)

It seems notable that this was my first infiltratory exploration!

(Drag small images to a new tab for full size)

Storehouse (original/instagram version)

The floor almost melted beneath my feet - I could hear creaks, even from outside of the structure, and didn't really trust its stability, but got some interior shots. Not extremely exciting inside

Beekeeper's Tower (original/instagram version)

Though not at first apparent, this was the more stable structure of this group. The floor was concrete; it was also guarded by bees - no trouble from them

Stables (?)

One sturdy, one with a collapsed roof, and a shed.

Definitely found that my anxiety wasn't well-based!

A pretty cool find.
That's something you rarely run into, left behind honey bees. Unless they colonized the abandoned frames; honey attracts them.
Be a sweet spot to revisit with some beekeeping gear for some fresh honey

Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.

From long ago. I just made the LDB entry public. Nothing to hide here. Have fun and watch out for the cow pies!
