Drain tunnel (Austin, TX)
entry by Wicked Whimsy

Explored a Drain tunnel today with a friend of mine. The entrance is underneath a building (which can be accessed via a crawlspace on the side)

There are two sets of tunnels, a pair of small, 4 ish feet tall ones which can be easily accessed, or the main tunnel which is 5-6 feet tall.

We didn't go far in the smaller tunnels because they were somewhat waterlogged as we got farther in and the mud was thick and intense to move through, but i would totally explore more in dry weather.

The Main Tunnel (about 5-6 feet high and 4 ish feet wide) was covered in wall to wall graffiti near the tunnel entrance. it stretched quite awhile, and me and my friend turned around after 1/3 of a mile after seeing a graffiti message that said "You fucked up, turn around" which scared the crap out of us.

If anyone wants to get together for an Urban Exploration coffee meetup then send me a message!
