A friend told us about this place. It was hard to find but as soon as we were inside the cave the exhausting search and access were forgotten. It was pitch black… and nippy. We were there in summer so it felt good to cool off. And it was the first cave we’ve explored by the way. According to this we were especially careful and especially impressed with this unique atmosphere. In there you heard nothing – this was calming and disturbing at the same time.



However, in this cave we found the debris of a shellproof command post. Back in World Word Two the SS commandant of this region fell back to this place when his former command post was bombed in 1945. Today there isn’t that much left of this place. Kids used to party here and you can find some of their leftovers – for example fluorescent colors on the walls!
