Entry: Pod People architecture
originally posted by Steed

N. When a building, usually historic, is totally demolished and replaced with a new building that either is supposed to be the same building or ape its style in the name of preservation, that's Pod People architecture.

They destroyed the traditional old house across the alley, and replaced it with Pod People architecture.

An example of a Pod People architectural "preservation" project in action:
1. Destroy existing building.
2. Replace with entirely new "traditional" building.
