Well not exactly but back in '74 North American Wildlife Research Team (NAWRT) built a Bigfoot trap. They baited it with rabbit carcasses but never caught bigfoot (unless you count the couple of bears they managed to catch). In '80 the Forest Service took over and bolted the doors open. Perry Lovell was a miner who back in the days swore he found an 18" inch human track at the location they built the track. There was supposed to be an old miners cabin but weather and I'm sure asshats have reduced it to a pile of ruble not much to take pictures of.

The hike in is pretty cool and like literally cool was in the 60's when I hiked to it. I'm going to do some research and recon as the area is supposed to be littered with mines that would be pretty awesome to explore.

It's just been nice to be back out and know that my foot is fully healed after breaking it. 8 weeks down was way too long.
