I've recently started exploring Peterborough however i cant find many things to check out, there is Jackson creek which runs underneath Peterborough (if you're going wear gloves and a long sleeve and be ready for getting wet and a ton of spiderwebs) and that is pretty much it apart from exploring construction sites. If anyone knows of places to explore in Peterborough or how to get into the storm drain system it would be greatly appreciated

A second though: I've been checking out the Ottanabe river banks for where the storm drain system would drain into it and have had no luck if anyone could tell me how to find ways into drains or tricks and tips it would help out

A third thought: Sorry for dragging this post on (its my first) but im also wondering if you can get onto roofs just by taking stairs to the top of a building and checking for an unlocked door. please correct me if im wrong. thanks in advance to anyone who responds

cheers, mullet

I'm not familiar with drains around here, but I can tell you that there isn't really much in Peterborough itself in terms of abandoned buildings (at least that I'm aware of). However, you can come across some houses and whatnot in the county.

Most of what was available a few years ago is now re-purposed or gone, and I generally end up exploring in other areas these days.

It's cliche, but the best way to find out what's out there is to just get out and look around, especially in a more rural area like this vs Toronto.
