Getting caught.

So on May 26, 2016 I was caught for Urbex. It was rather a good first time.To give back story this building is near a river and two blocks from the main portion of downtown. The area had a constant security force. It was around 8:00PM and my friend and I started to head downtown to get into this abandon building I knew about for months. It was a nice night, quite and good for Urbex. Once we got to the building to my surprise it was fenced off, it previously wasn't. But we went out with the intent to get in and get some sweet photos. We went around the fence to the spot where I knew it'd be easiest to get onto the roof. Once we hopped the fence and made our way to the low part of the roof we made our way up. I took the lead since I do Parkour and work out frequently. I helped my friend up. Once up, we faced a challenge of a 8 foot wall at a slanted angle. (on the photo its to the right of the building) I managed to "Assassins creed" my way up the ledge and helped my friend up, but as I did a car drove by. I pulled my friend up quickly and we laid there until we were sure they passed. We walked our way up and over to the roof top access to this building, to my relief the door was unlock. We walked in a looked around and found a ladder. The ladder leads to the main portion of the building and I wanted to make it to the basement. As I climbed down the ladder my friend and I heard a sound that sounded like a car alarm. He told me it was just a car alarm and I agreed, less then a second later he said there weren't any car alarms. There was a motion sensor pointing at the ladder as you climb down, I set it off. We booked it out of the building as fast as possible. If we were smart we'd run to a river near by where the security couldn't follow. But we weren't so we ran towards the downtown across two empty plots of land. My friend said look to the left where the security van was right behind us. I looked at my friend (who still wanted to run) too stop and that we got caught. Security asked us what we were running from. I 100% knew security knew we set off the alarm. I told them we were inside. At which point they said they would need us to stay and give us identification, we did everything we were told. We weren't about to argue with them. Security was impressed we managed to get inside. Security said we'd need to stay with them until the cops came. So they handcuffed us and put us in this cage in the back of their van until the police came (almost two hours). My friend and I were nervous at first but as it took longer the security came back and asked if we needed anything, I just asked them to loosen my cuffs. And my friend and I were no longer nervous we started talking about just random shit. Once the police came we gave them a rundown of what happened. The cops seemed uninterested and let us off with a warning. No call home, we just had to delete our photos. Security on the other hand was planning on banning us for 5 years from the grounds, but banned us for two since we were honest. The official reason was B&E, and we walked to the sea train to go home. It was a long night getting home around 12:00 am. It was a good experience getting off so easy. We were the first and now last people to be in the building as it is going to be demolished. Cops said they were good photos. :(
