Though seriously my vote's still for a simple white hexagon, or just the lettering for UER. I'll buy whatever you put out no matter what though just easier for everyday people to ignore.

What, a hexagon with uer cut out? Or maybe just with the website beneath maybe?

So... a 1.5-2" white hex on clear with a modest clear border - in the clear border is www.uer.ca in 8pt white text?

I was gonna say make the proportions of the lock look a little more typical - but then realized you're dealing with a very bold U and can't make it much wider.

Maybe shorten the arms of the U just a bit and scale down the ER so they aren't as wide. You could also push the ER a little closer together without losing clarity of the letters..

No! You're not the boss of me.

Plus when I made it more proportionally correct and even mimicked the R more like the E, even rounding the diagonal, it actually made it less legible.

Sure. You said the hex motiff, a la the site accents:

and I liked that idea. Just as a symbolic thing, because admittedly it's not super exciting. But as a simple identification symbol that minimizes abuse, the simple hallowed hex would be effective. UER inside a hexagon would be fine too, I'm just spitballing. Take my suggestions with a grain of salt; you said you've already designed 4, and skatch is pumping awesome ones out like clockwork lol, it'll be great no matter what.

With all this, I love these designs, the lock especially.

I can see it now. I've just finished exploring all the copper in a partially abandoned military base, and I've come back to get some rad selfies for my insta. As I make my way out, arms full of explosive ordinance that I took as souvenirs, some MPs show up, guns drawn. I'm not worried, I know what to do. Dropping some mortar shells to free up an arm, I reach into my pocket and produce my brand new UER business card, and show it to the MPs. After studying it for a moment, they nod, I nod, and we part ways.

One can dream.

I'll definitely purchase some stickers when they are available! I love the idea!

It'd have to be something clever, basic, and I'd probably say design them as "leave this behind in the abandonment". Which is actually interesting because it's more temporary than a sticker.

You explore, the next person to explore takes the card. Rather than you exploring, then every person that goes there including LEO, owners, security etc. will see that UER was there (like they would with spraypaint). Theoretically you could recruit a solid, lone explorer(s) that are unaware UER exists and nobody outside the UE community would know either you, nor them, were ever there.
