Blackhawk was banned 3.5yrs ago. He came back a few months later as "HornetWrath", but hasn't logged in for over 3yrs now. He is most likely long over UER by now....

Check out HornetWrath's last posts. He looked for an explanation as to why 'Hawk was banned, got an answer, then never returned. True, it doesn't prove anything, but I find that both fascinating and a pretty safe assumption....

He also wasn't "caught". HornetWrath was never banned, he just never came back after he got the answer he was looking for. I am not even sure if anyone else even noticed it. I only mentioned it once, in some 'Hawk thread more recently. Something like "Blackhawk 2023" or something like that. I can't remember. Not trying to stir it up again at all, I do understand why many had issue with him, but under my former acct "Mr Bitey", him and I had a good rapport and often PM'd each other - I personally never had a problem with him, but again - I get it......

Gotta be honest, this site isn't a totalitarian state, and if any of them are able to find a way in and stay under the radar by not repeating their past mistakes, they're entitled to be here until they raise too much suspicions.

Is it worth it to them to be here if they can't harass new members/females/antique organs, hard to say.

Back to the original topic, it is worth keeping in mind that phones can be tracked directly by the phone company, in addition to Stingrays/IMSI catchers/3rd party devices. This is generally what LE calls a "ping" and it doesn't necessarily require much paperwork.

Most modern phone companies have a really good idea of where devices are, like on the order of a few meters' resolution. This is because the towers physically aim beams to each device in order to let everyone communicate at high speed without interfering with each other (MIMO etc) and also for handing off signals between towers without dropping. And the radius of cell tower coverage is decreasing with 5G so even without the beam vector the resolution is better just by tower location w/ 5G
