“We are not going to have the kind of cooperation we need if everyone insists on their own narrow version of reality. … the great divide in the world today … is between people who have the courage to listen and those who are convinced that they already know it all.”

There's a lot of these small time car makers from yesteryear in every state...a lot of times, its the only reason a state DMV will print a Manufacturer plate just for one company in the history of the state 30 years back.

There was a outfit in Texas that made a really slick electric car in the 70s out of Texas that actually made GM and Ford find ways to kick them out of the Detroit Auto Show...

so far the worst cars I have ever driven recently was a Chrysler 200 from 2012 and a similar vintage Toyota Yaris.

The Aveo I did drive was a blast to throw around, but I could tell that it would lose that fun after a month or two. I felt really really cheap. The Sonic, even though sitting on a similar chassis, is a much much better car and tons of fun to drive, more so in RS trim.

How many of you have ever had the 'privilege' of driving a Daewoo Lanos?

I have driven a lanos ,actually for a good 10 miles... It was manual and had these cool two tone seats. It wasn't all that bad actually I would drive it over a smart or Aveo

I forgot how bad the Yaris was.

Yeah, GM also rebadged that as the Chevy Optra. Wretched little car.
