For all you flashlight enthusiast (if you're out there)

I stumbled across this little thing, and it actually seems like a decent flashlight. Would make a perfect keychain flashlight for those unprepared moments.

Meh, I'll just stick with my UER keychain light.

But really though http://www.amazon....C_SX110_SY165_QL70 I have dozens of these, at a quarter of the price - sub-$5 - they're durable, last long, and for their size are bright as hell. They're often rebadged and I float between sellers on eBay and Amazon. I have a few of their slightly larger lights too, 1500 lumens for around 7 dollars.

Buddalights! These are great. I always have one on me as a backup.

I lost my UER light, but replaced it with this which can be charged with USB.

I have a few of these myself. Super cheap. Though they do seem to crap out on me faster than others. But for the price and power, you can't beat it.

No kidding. And at that price, who gives a shit if you lose one or drop one? I've also given them away, along with a handful of spare batteries, to homeless folks living in abandoned buildings, who always seem to be super appreciative.

I just picked up the Maglite LED Solitaire. I know there's probably better, brighter, and cheaper options out there but as a keychain light it's good enough for me. I actually bought it mostly to use when inspecting and buying used records and camera lenses but I suppose as a backup it'll serve well too. Also my job sells them so after my discount I got it for less than $10.

Yes, now you can find a lot of cool flashlights on Amazon. As to the model you're talking about, I've heard a lot of positive reviews of it from other people. I'll purchase several of these flashlights because they are cheap and often break down. You are also talking about the UER keychain light. I once had one but accidentally lost it somewhere, and since then, I have not used such things. I can say that this thing was sometimes very useful to me and helped me at the right moment.

I have a similar one. 10/10. I go battery powered and keep an extra set when it comes to flashlights, then if it dies, there never a “Oh no wheres the portable charger” Moment

Buy an o light for $20. Super durable, long lasting battery, 180 lumen mode and 20 lumen mode. Been carrying it for almost over a year now.

I have a keychain flashlight that I got off Amazon that's called "ULTRATAC K1". It's similar to the one that is posted above. The cool things that I like about this flashlight is that it can use all AAA batteries (Alkaline, NIMH and 10440 lithium) and it's very sturdy, waterproof plus you can use the keychain clip or the pocket clip, for which I use the pocket clip, also the light beam has great range meaning the beam shines out in the distance if that's makes sense, I really like that it has a tail push button instead of a twist on/off switch. If you haven't noticed but I'm a flashlight, headlamp and battery nut (LOL). Has anyone ever heard of the "ULTRATAC K1" flashlight before?

One other thing I forgot to mention is that I use a 10440 lithium 3.7volt rechargeable AAA size battery because it seems to make it brighter and it seems to last a long time but I haven't used any other batteries in this flashlight yet. I highly recommend this flashlight that I mentioned.

I've been using a Nebo Mycro for a while. It's, reliable, borderline indestructible and bright enough to light up a whole room despite being roughly the size of a quarter. The only problem I have with it is battery life. It will last for around an hour of continuous use. It's a good backup flashlight, but I tend to prioritize battery life over brightness.

Oh yeah I like Nebo flashlights too. I use a lot of them with NIMH AAA batteries and work great. I have some that use 14500 lithium AA size 3.7 volt batteries as well.

I personally carry a fennix pd36 rechargeable flashlight as my main. Sure, it's on the pricey end ($70 or so) so I have to be careful not to lose it, but with five different brightness settings and a max output of 3000 lumens I really like it. It helps that the rechargeable batteries are cheap so I have five different batteries to swap through in my pack.

For a backup I usually carry some throwaway sub- $10 flashlight or a headlamp depending what I'm doing, sometimes both if its a lot of underground. I've never regretted going underground with three redundant light sources and backup batteries for each, though I've sure regretted going underground without it before.
