lParking, Dodging Rangers watchful eye and then spending hours exploring underneath Oakland in what was HOURS and HOURS with a glimpse of sunlight here and there, MILES AND MILES of walking was pretty much how it worked out. This was our first Oakland tunnel. F.Y.I: TAKE A SNACK! . We brought everything we needed - cameras, 100+ lumens high powered flashlights, rainboots and phones. We didnt realize how much time is needed (hours) to explore this pitch black tunnel (literally) but we left, not sure if we were half way or not but we figured we exited somewhere near Where Is This Station lol. Had a great time together and didnt run into any problems. Just remember to bring a snack tho lol. We guessed which station we were at from the map posted here lol My lady had to adjust the map so we wouldnt drop the tunnel location and also she was the one capturing this incredibly long tunnels history on camera. Right on babe

Nice shots. I love this spot; I remember coming up at the Ninja Turtles and it was dark out. We definitely didn't enter in the dark. Did you go past the Turtles? I don't know what lies beyond.

Edit: added some of my photos.

Thank you and my lady and I really enjoyed that adventure. We didn't go past the turtles. The water was really really deep when we got to lurking with friends.

Always wanted to visit this drain, but still haven't found it ... Probably because I haven't put much effort into finding it, I've mostly been exploring drains in the San Ramon Valley Area. Hoping to head out to the Spirit Drain this summer, after all the rain. Really cool pics guys!
