Hi all! I realize this may not be entirely urbex related, if this is not the appropriate area to post this, please feel free to move.

I'm planning a motorcycle trip this summer through CA with my girlfriend. We will be passing through Bodie, Yosemite, Joshua Tree and Redwood national parks.

I realize posting specific locations is forbidden, but do you have any recommended areas to check out? Abandoned or not? We would like to make this a worthwhile trip as I've never been south of Oregon before.
