Schedules didnt mesh with a local photographer here in Shreveport who was going to take me around to a few abandonments so I decided to hit some places I had on my list. Shreveport is an amazing city for Urbexers who have no scruples about pulling down a board. There are dozens of beautiful abandonments here, unfortunately I'm not one of those individuals (not to mention I didnt want a felony). With that being said, I found myself driving around and shooting some of these places from the outside. Prior to today, I would have argued that this wasnt "true" urban exploration, however my perspective has changed. I got to know this town so much better by driving/walking around than I ever would have just getting into a few individual buildings. I actually enjoyed "exploring" this city more than any abandoned building I have been in lately. Great town, beautiful architecture, fantastic food, and some of the friendliest people I have met. Below are some pics I got during my excursion.
