Hi all!
Here's a nice little farm colony I found in Staten Island with some friends. It's a pretty well documented place as far as I can tell, but I've only really recently begun exploration so hopefully I'll be able to start hitting some more obscure locations soon.
Sorry for the picture quality- I've only got an iPhone camera for the time being (though I hope to upgrade soon!)

Entrance to the basement, with the wall totally covered in ivy

Another entrance we found, on a bridge of sorts which lead into the second floor

My favorite picture- a hallway on the fifth floor of the building we explored

This is also my first post here, so here's hoping it's a good first impression!

Hello and welcome!

I've been here before and it was a quick, laid back explore while in the area.

Just a head's up though, (and with this particular location it doesn't really matter), but it is generally frowned upon to release real location names and where they can be found due to the illegal nature of this hobby.

Hope to see more of your stuff

I'd say it's a little bit of elitism combined with a little bit of wanting to keep the locations safe.

In this case, yeah the place is a dump so no one cares but there's actually (if it is still there) another place quite close to this location that is relatively well preserved. A lot more difficult to access though.

Also, if you wander around the woods in that general vicinity you'll stumble upon some stuff like make-shift dwellings and even a tipi. Not sure if anyone finds that interesting but from a urbanite's perspective it's somewhat cool in an odd curiosity sort of way.

That place isn't bad. I went on a day where there was so much fog. It added a lot of character to an otherwise standard place.
