An introduction of sorts

Hey everyone . . . first post here. Certainly not new to this but never posted in the forums before. I haven't been taking pictures very long and just recently upgraded from a ten year old Olympus p&s to a semi real camera. Never claimed to be a photographer and I'm sure I'm still not very good, but you never know, maybe someday I'll get the hang of it. Just figured I'd post a few from one of my recent trips and see what people think.

Thanks in advance for checking them out !

I don't know what the hell I'm doing with a camera either, but those photos look great to me. 8 is interesting.

Can't believe how untouched the location is! I don't mind graffiti a ton, but it's always a treat seeing a place that's not covered in it (not to mention all the cool shit that looks to be laying around).

What part of the northeast are you in?

I'm in southern Mass on the RI border. Those pics all came from a location not far from here. If you're interested, send me a pm for details. The building in the last pic I believe was still active. There were motion sensors all over the place that were flashing like crazy because I was walking around in there. I kept my time in there short because of that but come to think of it, it wasn't long after that I was escorted off the property.

Ha! So it's untouched because it comes with a catch. Still a great find. Thanks for sharing it.

Good stuff. I was escorted off the property within 10 minutes when I stopped by.

Welcome! Nice set. I had fun here. We had a decent size group (I think 5) and didn't have any trouble, but I've heard people running into trouble here before. Here's a picture of 5, about a year ago, sucks they took all the fun out.

What I wouldn't do to fix up a nice typewriter like that

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Awesome. Great job on getting in for that last photo. I'd love to stand in there. I was here a few years ago. And only got to see a little bit unfortunately. Was almost escorted off the property. But got to talking to the security. And they let us roam around as long as no one else saw us and called them.

not exactly, motion sensors help trigger alarms, they arent alarms themselves.

I generally lurk in dark, dusty places, mumbling to myself and wearing sunglasses.

Which have to do with alarms. Alarms wont work without some type of way to set it off, ie: motion sensors.
