She should hook up with Seph Lawless so we can then merge their threads.

I've been real busy lately, but here's an excerpt from the police report, which pretty much reveals who the real "rat" is.

Keep in mind, i have no idea who any of these people are or the places involved, i was only sent this from a mutual friend of Karen's, whom is sick of seeing her being wrongfully accused and not able to tell her side of the story.

(This isn't me taking sides. I'm doing this as a favor, as i really don't care about this entire situation.)

Hey, at least my real last name is blanked out on this one. That's a plus.
Considering the rest of them that are floating around have my full name out in the open for everyone to see.

If Karen doesn't want this type of thing to happen, she needs to conduct herself a little more intelligently. She broke into SOMEONE'S HOME. A home that was owned by a living, breathing individual who walked in on her using HIS HOME for a photo shoot. Are we glossing over that point here?

As explorers we try to live by some code of ethics. What we do is illegal. We accept that every time we walk out the door and head for a new location. However, there has to be a line somewhere. And that line is drawn at the front door of SOMEONE ELSE'S HOME. Even if they aren't living there at the time, that home still belongs to them and they have the right to reasonably expect not to find strangers using it for photography.

I understand that I will not win over Karen's fans and followers. They will staunchly defend her no matter how wrong her actions were. She will be canonized as a saint and I will be vilified as a rat. And guess what, I accepted that the moment I chose to give information to the police about a crime that had been committed. Because guess what-- this was a crime.

Continue to share that privileged legal document all over the internet. It won't change the charges that were brought against Karen in a court of law. It will not change her previous arrest record. And it will not change the fact that people will be punished for committing a crime in the eyes of the law. I didn't make the law, but I sure as hell helped uphold it.

It's a joke to think cops look at urban exploration forums. They don't need to - there's an army of tattlers out there who rat out others and do the cops work for them.

"urban exploration" - yet another subgroup made up of people who hate their own members.

As i mentioned, i did it as a favor for a good friend.
I posted with the understanding it would most likely cause more drama.. Shoot, why not? I see someone pushing blame on someone else while blatently lying. Why not share the truth?
This is all i'm going to contribute, though. I have no reason to fight over something i know nothing about, but i figured it should at least be known.

Seems like this is the one spot it actually should be, due to the prior lies and bashing by the individual it concerns/reveals. *shrug*

But then again, what do i know? Absolutely nothing regarding this. I should probably just mind my own business. ;]

I do think it proves a good point. If EVERYONE in this hobby is participating in an illegal activity, it is good to know who is a rat and should never be trusted. Obviously this girl has been jealous of the Jerzyk person or was crossed in some way by her in the past to resort to calling the police on them.

I think the whole thing is rather stupid. Everyone needs to mind their own business and not make it all about public opinion.

As I have never heard of both the B&E artist and the rat, I can safely assume they are absolute nobodies and not even worth this discussion in the first place. Not to mention that this police informant person had to create an account to just to defend herself on an unknown forum. Again, the whole thing is pathetic.

I hear those informant guys can be a pain int the ass and a lot of papwerwork, or so I hear. But you're right, cops prefer action and physical detective work. What kind of world would it be where cops could solve crimes by sitting on a computer eating donuts? No cop would want the boredom of that shift.

I love trespassing especially with drugs and weapons. PM me if you want to meet for fun adventure!
