I have spotted this motel when it was about to close down a few days ago, and today I found it all empty and surrounded by fences. You guess what I did next.
I came a little too late though, all the bedrooms were already scrapped for renovation, so I only took shots from the outside and corridors.
And before you ask, I didn't swim in the pool, but that could have been fun!

It looks like they are re-paining the rooms, so it will probably be re-purposed, but I don't know how yet.
Its main purpose right now is a potential clandestine pool party

Just invite all the neighbors and have a pool party. Cops come? Invite them, too

This sounds like the plot of a really bad, college centric comedy dick flick.

*sigh*

Great timing on your part to go and check it out! Did you assume that it had closed down before you went there, or did you intend on checking out a room?

I didn't want to book a room, I just passed by it on the street (it is very close to where I live), and saw the "FINAL SALE" sign, that's how I knew it was about to close down.
Now they are completely removing everything from the motel day after day, I wonder what they are going to do with it.
