Wouldn't hurt to scout it out. How far is it from you?

Probably about 30 minutes but I know all the fences are locked and have barbed on top. I've read about someone who got in somehow and asked the caretaker to look around and that was what got me. Caretaker. Wether or not he is there anymore I have no idea.

. . . But seriously. If El Toro is too risky now how about the Tustin Base?

I know they're turning it into a museum. There's been a lot of talk on it for a while now, and with all the construction near and on site...I'm not sure if it's possible to anymore. I say poke your head in and see, but I don't think it's the best option with what Tustin is doing with the land right now.

We were just asked to leave by the PD. Actually kinda friendly. But that was a couple years back.

Edit: Maybe they were getting ready for a dick suck.

El Toro if you're not blatant about walking about in there and you avoid the shack where the RV park guard sits you can explore that whole base without any issues...
I always went after 11 and would explore until the sun came up and I only got chased once by security and two other times got spotlighted but they didn't see us. The big thing is parking... If you wanna hit the side with the neat airplane parts you have to park pretty far away and walk through the field or they see your car and go nuts xD if you wanna see the hospital and train stations you can park in the office park right next to the base and get in there np.

Tustin is easier there's no guards but there are only 2-3 buildings left... Avoid the active hangar like it's a crazy zombie gonna eat yer ass cause it sort of is... they have 24 hour security and are on the ball about it... Cameras everywhere and such being an aerospace research company and whatnot.

Last trespassing charge I got was a summary and was like a 90$ fine so I wouldn't expect much more then that.

If you get chased away during the day via the RV access or sand canyon I would suggest entering from the side with the train tracks at night. If that doesn't work try the industrial park area near alton.

Your best bet is definitely where the train tracks are, its been a while since I've been through there though.

So whats the best way to access? Just walk right in the front gate?
The construction gate at the south end looks like a good bet, is the South Hanger accessible?
