I went back to an area I recently found to do some more digging. And it revealed another location. It's not the biggest exploration but definitely pretty interesting. And I had a lot of fun. From what I can gather it was a lime elevator for the nearby quarry.
My usual camera broke. So I had to resort to my old one that has a broken zoom and the focus goes crazy. I apologize for some of the fuzzy photos.
I'm pretty sure there's a hidden house back here too. It looks like some sort of villa or estate or something. But, from my research, it seems to be owned and maintained regularly. However, It doesn't really seem to be actually lived in.
According to the map, there seemed to be a building towards the back so I started there. 1.
This explains why it was so hard to make out on the aerial images. There was one room still in tact with a work bench and a few cool items. But those files got corrupted on my memory card somehow. 2.
The chimney was the only thing really visible from the trail. 3.

Found this poor guy dried up by the forgotten lake. 5.
The forgotten lake. Great fishing spot. 6.

Upon Arrival. 8.
I first thought it wouldn't be do-able. 9.
A small airport nearby kept producing small aircraft. I was able to use these things to my advantage. 10.
Upon entering. 11.

Time Clock, I think. 19.
Someone appeared to have used this phone receiver as a make shift doorstop. 20.

Machinery in the tower itself. 26.
At the top. 27.
Watch your step. 28.
29.
There is roof access. 30.
31.
32.
Going back down was tricky with a backpack. 33.
Found a couple more things on the way out. 34.
35.
It looked like the rest of the phone went out of a window. 36.
I came across this partially underground area that was caved in on one side. 37.
It turned out to be the building that housed the bottom of the conveyor which would have elevated the stone up to the tower. 38.
The conveyor was operated from down here. 39.
40.
41.
And I found this little building as I was leaving. 42.
